Over the last seven decades, The Walker Company has engaged in many facets of material production, highway contracting and commercial building construction throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky. The company's projects range from construction of roads, bridges and highways to new buildings, parks and golf courses.

From its inception, The Walker Company has remained a family-owned and operated company with the fourth generation of Walkers now involved with the business. The company's founding mission remains in effect today: "To provide the customer with a product of the highest quality in the timeliest manner employing local people while maintaining corporate integrity and profitability."
