Interstate 64 Rehabilitation
Montgomery and Bath County, Kentucky
Owner: Commonwealth of KY Transportation Cabinet
This included three rehabilitation projects along I-64 from milepost 113 in Montgomery County to milepost 125 in Bath County, Kentucky. Our scope of work consisted of the following:
- Soil and rock excavation
- Drilling and blasting
- Two super-structure bridge modifications
- Traffic control
- Break and seat existing concrete pavement
- Asphalt paving
- Edge drain installation
- Landscaping and seeding

Haley Pike Landfill Closure — Phases 1 & 2
Lexington, Kentucky
Owner: Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government
This project consisted of 44-acre closure, leachate collection system and the largest wetland cell facility constructed in the state of Kentucky. This closure project included the following:
- Subbase (waste) grading and preparation
- Landfill liner system of geocomposite and 40 mil LLDPE
- Soil cover system installation (202,400 cy)
- Installation of 42 methane vents
- Leachate collection and conveyance system (8,000 lf)
- Pump station for leachate system
- Equalization basin (5.5 million gallon capacity)
- Two wetland cells (3/4 acres each)
- Combination liner system in ponds of geocomposite and 60 mil HDPE
- Wetland vegetation and permanent seeding
Ky Highway Route 11
Montgomery and Bath County, Kentucky
Owner: Commonwealth of KY Transportation Cabinet
This project consisted of realignment of about 5.5 miles of KY 11 through Sharpsburg. Our scope of work included the following:
