More than 80 employees oversee operations in this division, which produces the quality materials that are the backbone of The Walker Company.

Products

The Walker Company owns three limestone quarries and has an ownership interest in one other. Each produces high-quality crushed limestone aggregates of various sizes and lime dust for agricultural purposes.

Two Hot-mix Asphalt plants located in Mt. Sterling and Frenchburg produce bituminous base, binder and surface course mixes.

Atlas Concrete Products, which boasts more than 50 years of success, is owned by The Walker Company and produces ready-mix concrete products from its two plants located in Mt. Sterling and Frenchburg.
