History

Our history dates back to 1933 when Arthur “Easy” Walker formed A.W. Walker & Sons with his father and brother to open the White Rock Mountain Limestone Quarry in Powell County. Four generations later, in addition to producing crushed limestone materials and plant-mix asphalt, we have become a construction contractor without limitations.

Our construction services and project experience includes everything from highways, bridges and buildings to factories, neighborhoods and landfills.

We are proud of our heritage and the relationships we have developed along the way. From customers to employees, our commitment is the same… treat individuals with the virtues that are important in life. The communities where we live and work become our home and as such, we support them tirelessly.
